Business Overview

Our Operations, Data & Technology team collaborates across the business with a strong emphasis on designing solutions, increasing efficiency and reducing operational risks. The team consists of several areas of specialisation including:

The Role

This diverse and hands on role will assist with managing the investment accounting for:

•    IFM products and investments as directed by the Director, Associate Director or Manager, Investment Accounting
•    Record transactions in accounting systems
•    Perform balance sheet reconciliations
•    Preparation of monthly management accounts and provide analysis on significant 
•    Balance Sheet and Profit or Loss movements
•    Assist with statutory and investor reporting for compliance
•    Preparation and review of information for investors
•    Assist with tax reporting (BAS, Fund Payments and Annual Income Tax Returns) and coordinate payments
•    Assist with take on and transition of newly established Developments and CAPEX projects
•    Ad hoc reporting for operations and front office stakeholders
•    Support the Investment Accounting and Operations team in various initiatives including property acquisitions/divestments and various business improvement workstreams
•    Assist with new product development for IFM, as directed by the Manager, Associate Director or Director, Investment Accounting.

Your Background and Experience

•    Ideally circa 5 years relevant experience in property, mandates and/or fund accounting
•    Tertiary qualifications in law, commerce, economics, finance or related field
•    May have post-graduate qualifications
•    CPA or CA qualifications or be studying towards it
•    Detailed market knowledge
•    Client relationship management
•    Business acumen, financial metrics and key performance drivers
•    Strong financial knowledge
•    High level numerical skills required
