Under general supervision, the Intern - Associate Software Developer designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs new and existing software systems and/or applications. Serves as technical resource on development projects. Participates in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design. Writes technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. Supports, maintains, and documents software functionality. Identifies and evaluates new technologies for implementation. Participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements. Consults with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs. The Intern - Associate Software Developer will be assigned projects of small to medium scale and moderately complex.

Qualifications
- Key Experiences/Achievements
- Coursework in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience and technical training, is required
- Interest and experience in software development, systems analysis and programming experience
- Technical/Functional Competencies
- Experience in development / analytical tools, consisting of, but not limited to the following; PL/SQL, Oracle, Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, Python, Java, GoLang and C.
- Programming language and Linux operating system expertise Experience.
- Experience working within a formal methodology for software development
- Management Skills
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and adjust priorities based on workload and direction from management
- Ability to organize, plan and execute major projects under direct supervision
- Verbal and written communications skills
