Job DescriptionAs an Insurance Product Analyst, you’ll help shape and steward TAL’s Group Life product portfolio, ensuring our offerings remain competitive, relevant, and deeply aligned to the needs of our partners and their members. Your work strengthens TAL’s mission to support Australians’ financial wellbeing by guiding thoughtful product evolution and enabling sustainable growth. This role is meaningful because the insights you generate and the decisions you influence directly contribute to protecting more Australians and helping them live life with confidence.
In This Role You Will:
- Drive clear product strategies that strengthen the performance and competitiveness of the portfolio.
- Negotiate and shape complex contracts to secure strong, sustainable partner outcomes.
- Ensure products meet legislative and regulatory obligations to protect TAL and its partners.
- Maintain accurate, compelling product documentation that supports partner confidence and compliance.
- Analyse market insights and competitor activity to guide strategic product decisions.
- Implement product enhancements that improve value, experience, and commercial performance.
- Identify emerging opportunities and risks to inform proactive product evolution.
Please note, this is a 12-month fixed term contract.
Qualifications- Tertiary qualifications in law, finance, business, commerce and/or related disciples
- Apply sound product and insurance knowledge to make clear, well‑reasoned decisions.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of compliance and regulatory expectations.
- Use strong analytical thinking to turn data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Communicate clearly and organise work effectively to deliver quality outcomes.
- Assess new opportunities with a commercial mindset and a focus on customer value.
- Build constructive relationships and influence others through collaboration and trust.
