As an Inside Account Manager, you will be the key growth engine for our accounting and bookkeeping partners. You’ll be on the phone every day, acting as an advisor and champion for your own portfolio of start-up firms. Your goal? To guide them to new heights by helping them master their online strategy, take on more clients, and level up through the Xero Partner Program. This is your chance to make a real impact, one successful partner at a time.
What you'll do:
- Effective territory management through categorisation and prioritisation of all new and existing Accounting and Bookkeeping Partners
- Identify sales opportunities to build a sales pipeline
- Prioritise and manage your day to optimise calling time to meet monthly sales and call targets
- Identify opportunities to develop business plans to produce larger or longer term deals and work with the Partner to implement them and manage on an ongoing basis
- Increase penetration within the existing Partner base
- Ensure knowledge of Xero features and functionality is kept up to date via Xero training and update webinars
- Ensure activity targets are met
- Increase and maintain the percentage of certified partners ensuring attendance of re-certification where required
- Keep all information, relating to inbound and outbound calls, up-to-date at all times inSalesforce
What you'll bring with you:
- Direct experience in inbound phone and email sales with proven sales performance
- An interest and intrigue in the emerging online accounting market
- Ability to create a quick and strong rapport with partners over the phone
- Attention to detail and follow-up
- A process-driven mindset and takes ownership
- A go-getter mentality with loads of initiative and self-motivation
- Accounting product knowledge and understanding of the workings of an accounting practice
- Experience with managing long term client relationships
