The Job

The Implementation Team Lead oversees team day-to-day operations and supports direct reports as a people manager with coaching, development and performance management. Team leads provide guidance and best practice mentorship on both implementation principles and product technical knowledge.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide operational oversight and day-to-day support for all direct reports and support to business unit leadership as required.

  • Transparently align and collaborate with the leadership team including regular reporting on team metrics, goals, operational KPIs and OKRs. 

  • Drive team performance, contributions and adoption of the Simpro Groups Rally Cry & Defining Objectives.

  • Mentor, coach and provide development opportunities for direct reports. Includes but not limited to regular 1:1s, team meetings, and observations. 

  • Triage and address customer challenges, complaints and direct report concerns, and escalate as required.

  • Maintain an advanced knowledge of products and services.

  • Build and maintain relationships with other areas of the business and the wider Simpro group.

  • Approve absence requests, expenses, travel and collaborate with the leadership team on any performance management issues, as well as complete annual performance reviews.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in a SaaS or tech-focused environment, managing and developing high-performing teams.

  • Ability to oversee multiple projects with competing deadlines, demonstrating exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

  • Strong understanding of SaaS implementation processes and methodologies, and a proactive approach to learning and staying up-to-date on product changes.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly to clients and team members at all levels.

  • A strategic approach to resolving customer issues efficiently and empathetically, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Familiarity with tracking and analyzing KPIs and performance metrics, with a strong ability to use data to drive continuous improvement.

  • Ability to foster a team culture of mutual support, collaboration, and shared success, both within the team and across departments.
