About the role
We are currently recruiting for a HR Business Partner for Boeing Defence Australia to be based across our Amberley RAAF Base and Brisbane CBD office.
As a HR Business Partner, you will contribute to the alignment of business activities through the provision of high level and comprehensive HR consultancy and advice to Senior Managers and employees. Demonstrating a "business partner" approach to HR delivery through understanding the overall business and leveraging the capacity of people for competitive advantage, this is a true HR generalist role effectively contributing to desired business and project outcomes.
This position is hybrid with much flexibility, however due to the hands-on nature of the business, such a client facing role is expected to be on site 3 days a week to build relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.

This role involves the following key responsibilities:
  • Provide a consultancy service in alignment with the HR objectives by partnering with managers and providing HR advice to employees
  • Diagnosing problems and implementing solutions to HR issues
  • Participate in a range of HR Projects and tasks requiring HR involvement and expertise
  • Prepare reports, submissions, policies on a range of HR related topics
  • Support business leaders through delivery of effective and timely HR advice and links to other HR Support areas
  • Provide coaching and development guidance to leaders
  • Drive and execute the HR priorities, tools and processes within the business contributing to ongoing review, development and continuous improvement

What You Might Bring
  • HR experience of at least 5-7 years
  • Achievement in the provision of professional HR generalist advice including employee relations, industrial relations, change management and performance management, recruitment and selection, training and development to assist in the effective realisation of business objectives
  • Demonstrated experience in effective verbal and written and written communication

EducationBachelors Degree in HR, Business or related qualification at a degree level, desirable but not essential
