About the Role
Hastings Deering is seeking a motivated and experienced HSE Systems and Content Developer to join Health, Safety and Sustainability team in Archerfield on a permanent, fulltime basis.

This role plays a key part in designing, developing and maintaining safety documentation, digital workflows and training materials that underpin our HSE Management System. Working collaboratively within the HSE Systems and Training team, you will help ensure our content is accurate, accessible and integrated across key platforms including Nintex, SCORM, SharePoint and other digital tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain safety procedures, work instructions and other controlled documents aligned with regulatory and corporate standards
  • Design and implement digital workflows and forms using platforms such as Nintex, SharePoint or Planner to streamline safety processes
  • Create SCORM-compliant eLearning and training materials for inductions, refreshers and task or role-specific learning
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure all content is accurate, relevant and operationally aligned.
  • Manage document lifecycle processes including version control, approvals and archiving.
  • Support the integration of safety content across HSE systems to ensure a consistent and user-friendly experience.
  • Monitor engagement and effectiveness of training content, recommending improvements where needed.
  • Provide guidance to internal teams on best practice in document and training development.
  • Assist with audits and compliance reviews by maintaining up-to-date documentation and records.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives related to safety systems and user experience.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, safety, a related field OR equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in HSE documentation or training development
  • Experience with digital workflow tools such as Nintex or Power Automate
  • Strong working knowledge of SharePoint for document management and collaboration
  • Understanding of safety management systems and regulatory compliance
  • Experience developing SCORM-compliant training content (desirable)
  • Exposure to mining, construction, or industrial environments (desirable)
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety (desirable)
