Job Description

NCS Australia is seeking an HR Functional Business Analyst to support a major HR Uplift initiative. In this role, you will help remediate and enhance a primary HR Platform (SAP SuccessFactors) and ensure its seamless integration within a broader corporate ecosystem, including ServiceNow, Payroll, and Dynamics 365. Working alongside a Solution Architect and Lead BA, you will help evolve HR processes across the "Hire to Retire" value chain, ensuring digital solutions truly meet business needs.

You will take ownership of the requirements lifecycle—from running elicitation workshops to documenting "as-is" and "to-be" processes. Your day-to-day will involve translating business goals into clear functional requirements and user stories while maintaining end-to-end traceability. You will also get hands-on with data analysis, creating migration templates, and participating in testing phases to ensure the final solution is robust and compliant with privacy standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with HR Information Systems, such as SAP SuccessFactors or similar platforms, across various modules.

  • Ability to manage requirements and maintain traceability from high-level business capabilities down to specific test cases.

  • Skill in facilitating requirement elicitation workshops and engaging with stakeholders to capture critical workflows.

  • Proficiency in mapping business processes to support organisational uplift and system consolidation.

  • Experience creating functional requirement documents, user stories, and technical specifications.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, acting as a bridge between project teams, business units, and digital functions.

  • Experience in data analysis, including the creation of data ingestion templates and supporting migration activities.

  • Experience participating in testing and quality assurance phases to ensure solutions meet all defined business needs.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
