Job purpose/summary
The HR Advisor will be responsible for supporting the Head of HR with the provision of the full spectrum of HR activities, ensuring a highly disciplined HR operation that maintains an empowered and engaged workforce, with the right capabilities and incentives to deliver on the strategic business priorities, and actively seeks more efficient and agile ways of working.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordination of HR activities throughout the employment life cycle, with a focus on diversity and inclusion
HR data expert, ensuring data integrity across Workday, running reports and data analysis as requried
Talent acquisiton activities for Invesco Australia, including creating job descriptions, engaging recruiters, organising interviews, managing approvals and producing offer documentation
Ensure a great onboarding experience for each new employee, by organising a comprehensive induction schedule with regular check ins
Produce monthly statistical HR reports and quarterly reports for the Board and Risk Management Committee
Co-ordination of People Development activities
Manage training and qualifications records in the Training Database and keep track of employees undertaking external educational study
Maintain HR policies and procedures and provide policy advice to employees and managers
Provide instructions and assistance to Finance with payroll
Maintain agreements with external vendors
Identify, recommend, and document opportunities for process improvements
HR administration duties
Assist with work, health and safety requirements.
Formal Education:
Relevant bachelor’s degree required
Post-graduate HR qualification preferred
Work Experience/Knowledge:
Relevant experience support a corporate HR function
Understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices
Strong business acumen
Highly proficient in managing data within Workday
Abilities/Personal attributes:
Proven ability to prioritize and accomplish a wide variety of assignments
Organised and process driven
Strong stakeholder management skills
Enthusiastic, positive and self-motivated
Ability to successfully support cross-border or global clients
