Job Description
As an HR Administrator & Payroll Specialist at Gameloft Brisbane, you’ll join a team dedicated to helping our games teams create amazing products for our community. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will collaborate closely with the rest of the HR team and will be instrumental in supporting our human resources operations.
Your Duties as HR Administrator & Payroll Specialist will Include, among others:
Accounts:
- Manage the full accounts payable function, including requisition submissions, purchase order creation, invoice receipt, and payment requests using Workday.
- Review and approve employee expense claims submitted via Workday, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Process weekly payment runs and off-cycle payments as necessary, ensuring proper system interfaces and approvals are completed.
- Assist the studio with ad hoc or urgent payment requests.
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve queries, discrepancies, and payment-related issues.
- Issue monthly advertising sales invoices to customers.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of accounts payable transactions.
Payroll:
- Manage and process end-to-end payroll operations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving employee payroll-related queries promptly.
- Process and manage leave requests, ensuring accurate leave balances are maintained.
- Assist the HR team with WorkCover renewal and claims, specifically by providing payroll-related information and documentation as required.
- Assist the HR Manager with termination payouts and related calculations.
- Assist with payroll-related statutory payments, including PAYG, superannuation, and payroll taxes.
- Support the Finance Manager by preparing payroll-related documents and employee documents for government incentive programs.
HR:
- Support the HR team with day to day administration activities such as analyzing data, verifying records, assisting with invoicing and file management.
- Assist in organizing people engagement events and activities including coordinating vendors.
- Assist with standard HR reporting including monthly metrics and support for other reporting initiatives as required.
- Maintain employee records including processing new employee data.
- Prepare paperwork for HR policies and procedures (e.g. offers, salary changes, etc.)
- Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive company culture.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, previous experience in accounts and payroll keeping roles, and a strong work ethic.
To be considered for this role you must have:
- Accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize accordingly and adapt to change - remain curious and open to learning
- Proficiency in payroll software; strong working knowledge of Xero preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in a payroll and accounts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to understand and apply laws, regulations, and company policies
- Full working rights in Australia
