Job Description
Objective
  • Create and implement a comprehensive strategy to drive sustainable growth of Takeda's innovative dengue vaccine. Drive a positive public health impact through broad access to vaccination, education, and capacity building.
  • Effectively lead the cross-functional efforts and external partnerships, translating strategy into well-aligned and impactful tactics.
  • Leverage data and insights to conceive targeted investments and customer-centric actions. Measure impact and foster a learning culture, building a best-in-class team and operations, leveraging trainings, digital and omni-channel engagements.
  • Role model Takeda values and effectively lead, develop, and manage a high-performance team, fostering psychological safety and talent development.
  • Contribute to the strategy and overall leadership of Takeda in Indonesia as a member of the Indonesian Leadership Team.

People Leadership
  • Role model Takeda values and foster a culture of psychological safety, encouraging everybody to speak up. Ensure diligent monitoring and accountability with regards to compliance with laws, regulations and policies.
  • Build and drive a best-in-class in marketing and sales team by setting high standards, communicating them in a compelling manner, role modelling desired behaviours, and supporting the team through coaching, targeted trainings and other development actions.
  • Foster a culture of high-performance, empowerment, accountability, collaboration, innovation, creativity and learning.

Customer Focus and Market Understanding
  • Ensure strong market and customer understanding based on systematic data analytics and insights as well as close direct interactions with KOLs, customers, medical societies and partners.
  • Effectively tailor interactions and tactics to customer needs leading to an exceptional customer experience with superior outcomes.

Strategic Leadership
  • Establish a compelling vision of the dengue vaccine franchise.
  • Lead the creation of a comprehensive long- and mid-term strategy to drive sustainable growth of Takeda's innovative dengue vaccine in alignment with the global and regional strategy and the local environment.
  • Drive a positive public health impact through broad access to vaccination, education, and capacity building in alignment with Indonesia's needs.
  • Ensures an effective allocation of resources and budget management.

Driving Results
  • Ensure effective implementation of the strategy through clear and focused objectives and guidance to the field team resulting in effective territory plans.
  • Drive, support and monitor the effective execution through culture, measurement, incentives, and accountability.
  • Establish effective but simple governance and processes.

Collaboration
  • Closely collaborate with other functions and above country teams and lead the clear alignment of overall vaccine strategy and operations for Indonesia. Effectively leverage external partnerships.
  • Contribute to the strategy and overall leadership of Takeda in Indonesia as a member of the Indonesian Leadership Team.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in science, medicine, health economics, economics, or business.
  • Work experience: Minimum 5 years working in a biopharmaceutical leadership role with a strong understanding of commercial operations. Minimum of 8 years of biopharmaceutical experience, vaccine and Indonesian work experience is preferred.
  • Unquestionable personal and business integrity.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Strong analytical skills, structured and creative problem solving, planning and prioritization, understanding customer needs and trends, energetic, ambitious, results-oriented, highly engaging leader, mature and professional business partner.
  • Travel requirement locally and internationally.
