Your New Role and Responsibilities  

As Head of Financial Planning & Analyst (FP&A), you will sit at the centre of enterprise performance, shaping how financial insight informs strategy, investment decisions, and operational execution across the Australian business. Reporting to the Vice President – Finance, you will lead a high-performing FP&A function, modernise planning and reporting capability, and elevate finance as a strategic partner to the executive team. 

  • Lead and evolve the FP&A function into an insight-led, commercially focused partner to the business. 

  • Own the annual operating plan, rolling forecasts and monthly performance reporting at enterprise level. 

  • Drive forecasting discipline and scenario modelling to strengthen forward-looking decision quality. 

  • Modernise reporting capability through automation, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled finance. 

  • Build and mentor a high-performing FP&A team with strong capability in data analytics and commercial storytelling. 

  • Improve reporting efficiency, governance and integrity while reducing cycle times. 

  • Align pricing strategy and rate updates with broader commercial and growth objectives. 

 

What You’ll Bring to Make an Impact  

You are a commercially astute finance leader who combines technical depth with enterprise perspective. You operate comfortably at executive level, translate complexity into clarity, and bring a track record of strengthening financial capability within sophisticated, multi-stakeholder environments. 

  • Significant experience within a complex, matrixed or multi-business environment. 

  • Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to translate financial data into strategic insight and executive narrative. 

  • Demonstrated experience modernising finance through automation, analytics, or AI-enabled tools. 

  • Experience influencing senior executives and contributing at leadership team level. 

  • Proven ability to build, develop and lead high-performing finance teams. 

  • Deep understanding of budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and financial governance frameworks. 

  • Degree qualification in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
