The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, innovative and curious Head of Category and Channel Strategy to join our team. This pivotal role involves developing and managing a long-term collaborative framework to drive sustainable category growth across diverse customer segments and channels, while also defining organisational roles and aligning priorities effectively with our strategic customers.
This role will serve as the key sales liaison for internal Category Strategy development, ensuring robust customer representation, and will be instrumental in developing "How to Win" customer/channel strategies that empower account teams and customers to achieve long-term growth.

How you will contribute:
- Create and maintain a continuous review of the longer-term (3-5yrs) strategic agenda for customer categories (Confectionery, Biscuits, Seasonal, Soft White, Baking).
- Development of strong working relationships & category captaincy in insights with multiple customer groups.
- Acting as key lead and driver of the Customer JBP and plan on a page development, projects, timelines and initiatives.
- Be the business lead in internal category strategy development to ensure strong customer representation.
- Facilitate and coordinate projects, providing support to project team leads from across the business.
- Leveraging global and local insight / learnings and best practices in shopper missions, occasion-based marketing, and merchandising.
About you:
- Strong Experience working across category development, customer account management and revenue management.
- Proficiency in data analytics and consumer and shopper insights.
- Strong leadership and the ability to build trust and robust working relationships internally and externally.
