The Job

Build the acquisition engine that powers our significant growth plans in Australia. As our Growth Marketing Manager, you will lead Australian go-to-market strategy and execution as Solar Service Guys transitions to the Omnidian brand. You will drive residential customer acquisition and support commercial pipeline growth, turning creative ideas into measurable, repeatable results.

You’ll have the autonomy to build our local marketing function, with the data, tools and brand resources of a global company behind you. Reporting directly to our Australian Vice President of Growth and partnering with our US Head of Brand Strategy & Innovation, you’ll have direct access to decision-makers and real influence on how Omnidian connects with Australian customers.

In your first year, you will own go-to-market strategy, lead volume and cost per lead, working with sales and service delivery teams to convert leads into delivered work. We’re looking for a resourceful, creative marketer who enjoys turning ideas into action and building something that lasts.

What You'll Do

At Omnidian we believe in trust and autonomy. How you create an impact is ultimately up to you. Here is an outline of some of the things you’ll be doing:

    • Residential customer acquisition: Generate qualified solar health check leads through Google Ads and Meta, testing messaging, audiences and landing pages to improve conversion rates and reduce acquisition costs.
    • Agency management: Manage our external digital agency against clear performance objectives and recommend the right mix of agency support and in-house capability.
    • Commercial pipeline development: Partner with commercial sales leads to develop targeted campaigns for commercial real estate owners, asset managers and solar retailers across Australia.
    • Events and relationship marketing: Deliver trade show participation, industry events and targeted account engagement, with clear objectives and sales follow-up.
    • Marketing planning and systems: Build a coordinated marketing calendar and repeatable processes for campaign delivery, lead nurturing and reporting, using tools such as HubSpot and Airtable.
    • Organic growth and customer advocacy: Develop referrals, customer stories and social content, testing formats including short-form video.
    • Measurement and optimisation: Track campaign performance, communicate insights and recommend where to invest marketing time and budget.
    • Brand transition: Support the transition from Solar Service Guys to Omnidian in Australia over the next 6–12 months, adapting global brand materials for local audiences.

Who You Are

    • Confident in writing copy, managing digital campaigns, coordinating events, analysing results and managing budgets.
    • Commercial judgement, connecting marketing activity to lead quality, conversion, pipeline contribution and acquisition costs.
    • Initiative, sound judgement and the ability to work independently and collaborate with sales, leadership and global colleagues.
    • A hands-on marketer who enjoys testing creative ideas, generating qualified leads and turning successful campaigns into repeatable growth
    • A resourceful, creative marketer who can manage budgets effectively, improve customer acquisition efficiency and build sustainable acquisition channels.

Experience You'll Need

    • Substantial growth or performance marketing experience, with proven customer acquisition and pipeline results across B2B and B2C. Experience marketing services is essential.
    • Practical experience with CRM and marketing automation tools, digital advertising platforms and analytics, ideally including HubSpot, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager and GA4. Familiarity with Airtable or similar tools would be useful.
    • Practical experience using AI tools to improve marketing research, content development, campaign testing and workflow efficiency.
    • Experience in solar, renewable energy, energy storage or related home services either directly or in a consulting firm would be highly regarded.

    • Remote-first working: Work from anywhere on the east coast of Australia, with occasional travel to major cities for events and team collaboration.
    • Fair and consistent remuneration: We determine salary offers within our established bands based on relevant skills, professional experience and internal equity, rather than negotiating tactics.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
