Job Description

We are currently seeking full-time Groundsperson to join our hard-working maintenance team at Oaks Port Stephens Pacific Blue Resort. This position requires an experienced, professional, reliable and well organised person to work a variety of days and shifts.

Your key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Your number one priority will be to maintain the high standard of presentation at the property and its surrounding areas, including: pools (485metre Lagoon pool, spas, heated lap pool, water features) and other common areas
  • Undertake grounds care
  • Assist in Irrigation system maintenance and management
  • Carry out the maintenance of all tools and equipment (unless tradespersons are required)
  • Assist in caring and servicing the pool and spa areas
  • Be vigilant for hazards and risks within the workplace that could cause harm and report accordingly
  • Build & maintain professional and courteous relationships with guests, co-workers and management

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of machinery and irrigation
  • Strong knowledge of chemicals (AQF 3)
  • Exceptional communication, management and leadership skills
