Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking full-time Groundsperson to join our hard-working maintenance team at Oaks Port Stephens Pacific Blue Resort. This position requires an experienced, professional, reliable and well organised person to work a variety of days and shifts.
Your key responsibilities and duties include:
- Your number one priority will be to maintain the high standard of presentation at the property and its surrounding areas, including: pools (485metre Lagoon pool, spas, heated lap pool, water features) and other common areas
- Undertake grounds care
- Assist in Irrigation system maintenance and management
- Carry out the maintenance of all tools and equipment (unless tradespersons are required)
- Assist in caring and servicing the pool and spa areas
- Be vigilant for hazards and risks within the workplace that could cause harm and report accordingly
- Build & maintain professional and courteous relationships with guests, co-workers and management
- Comprehensive knowledge of machinery and irrigation
- Strong knowledge of chemicals (AQF 3)
- Exceptional communication, management and leadership skills
