Job Description:

At MKTG, we believe that sport and entertainment have the power to positively impact human behaviour. Taking a purpose-led approach, we help clients harness the power of sports, entertainment, culture, and community to impact human behaviour through meaningful marketing solutions and experiences. The experiences we create engage customers, build memorable brands, and deliver value.

As a Graphic Designer in our Melbourne office, you’d join a team who collaborate with major sports and events rights holders, brand sponsors, teams, leagues, venues, and talent to create unique sponsorship marketing platforms, content, experiences, and brand activations that engage fans and drive business and brand outcomes. Your work will be seen nationwide with some of the world’s biggest brands - including Visa, Chemist Warehouse, Cadbury, Great Southern Bank, TAC, Cricket Australia, and the AFL and NFL.

Responsibilities include:

  • Create high‑impact creative assets across digital, social, print, OOH, experiential, and sponsorship marketing platforms for major brand partners and national campaigns.

  • Collaborate with internal creative, strategy, and account teams to translate campaign concepts into visually compelling designs that elevate brand storytelling and fan engagement.

  • Design materials that authentically reflect brand identities and sponsorship objectives.

  • Produce content and visual assets for live brand activations, including event signage, environmental design, experiential visuals, and on‑site creative collateral.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing deadlines, feedback loops, and stakeholder expectations while maintaining high design quality and attention to detail.

A bit about you:

  • Experience with a creative or marketing agency, ideally with sports and entertainment (or at least a passion to do so).

  • Proficient with design tools like Adobe Suite (Illustrator, In-Design, Photoshop and After Effects).

  • Experience working with brands, and a knowledge of commercial design best practices.

  • Exposure to receiving, challenging, and executing creative briefs.

What’s in it for you:

  • The opportunity to give back with dedicated volunteer leave and our whole-company event, One Day for Change
  • Real flexibility to work when and where you feel most productive with our ‘Be the Best You’ policy
  • Career Development and Learning & Development opportunities, including access to our global online dentsu University

Become a champion for meaningful progress:

Our diverse and inclusive culture enables our employees to bring their whole selves to work and be proud of doing so. For us, this is the foundation for great innovation which, in turn, generates better outcomes for our people, partners and communities. This is why we encourage applications from people with disabilities, and of all ages, nationalities, backgrounds and cultures.

Together we make our mark. Together we embrace the true potential of disruption. And together – across all our locations – we help our clients win in a changing world.

If you want to belong to a one global network where opportunities are limitless – we look forward to welcoming you.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
