ROLE SUMMARY
The Graduate position provides recent University graduates the opportunity to work in different business units across a two - year period. The g raduate roles are :
- Designed to provide practical experience and up to three rotations in the following three disciplines:
- Engineering , including Automation, C apital P rojects , and T echnical S ervices
- Operations, including Production, Packaging , and Manufacturing Support
- Quality, including Quality Assurance, Quality Compliance, Quality Control, and Quality Systems .
- Ideally a graduate would spend 6-8 months in any one area.
- Graduates may be offered permanent roles within a specific area upon successful completion of the Graduate Program.
- Site-based appointments , requiring graduates to be on- premise .
The primary purpose of the Graduate Program i s to:
- Develop new graduates into skilled , knowledgeable and empathetic colleagues by providing a breadth of experience .
- Provide a pathway to secure employment in a discipline suited to the graduate's career pathway.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential responsibilities of the Graduate are, at a minimum , to :
- Learn to a basic degree of competence the skills of each work area , exercising the discretion and judgment of an Associate level employee
- Support the site to achieve local and global company objectives
- Engage in the Melbourne site's continuous improvement culture and activities , including the use of Pfizer Integrated Manufacturing Excellence ( IMEx ) tools
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, applying problem-solving techniques to enhance processes
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering, Scientific or related discipline.
- Possess excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated commitment to community initiatives
