We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a GP and Specialist Liaison Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to help strengthen relationships between our hospitals, GPs, Specialists and the wider healthcare community.


ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:

This is a permanent part-time role (0.6 FTE) and will be based at SVHPM Werribee campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing GP engagement programs and coordinating events to promote the varied specialists and services of St Vincent’s Private Hospital Werribee.

This role requires the candidate to visit key stakeholders in the community, build new business and sustain excellent outreach to the wider medical community.


This role will report to the Business Development Manager and the responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

  • Build and maintain relationships with GPs, Specialists, and practice teams.
  • Organise and promote GP education sessions and hospital events.
  • Support marketing initiatives that highlight our hospital and our specialists.
  • Work closely with hospital executives and the marketing team to drive referral growth.
  • Conduct regular visits to GP practices, specialists and other locations as required

ABOUT YOU:
As an outstanding GP Liaison Coordinator, you will have prior experience in sales, marketing or business development within the healthcare industry. You will be a strong communicator, be extremely driven and results-focused with a high attention to detail.
Your skills will include:

  • Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical or medical device sales role
  • RACGP QI&CPD Program Endorsed Provider qualifications (preferred), candidate will be required to take the RACGP accreditation course
  • Demonstrated success in building strong relationships with specialists, GPs, allied health professionals and varied stakeholders
  • Ability to develop and execute hospital and specialist growth strategy
  • Strong organisational and reporting skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competent IT skills including CRM reporting system
  • Current drivers licence

As the role involves visiting GP practices and healthcare sites, a current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle are essential.
