We have keen cyclists and motorbike riders, runners and car enthusiasts (of course). But did you know we also have movie buffs, musicians and entrepreneurs, but most importantly we’re all super proud to be part of the Quad Lock team.

About the Role 💭

As our Global Supply Planner, you'll play a central role in Quad Lock's global supply chain, owning end-to-end supply planning across both business-to-business (B2B) and direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels. You'll balance product availability, inventory levels, and cost efficiency, keeping our supply chain agile as we grow.

You'll manage supply plans in Logility, monitor global stock positions, oversee original equipment manufacturer (OEM) orders, and drive the reporting and analysis that keeps planning accurate. You'll also help build a better way of working: automating processes, streamlining workflows, and improving how information flows across teams and with external partners.

Success in this role means hitting in-stock targets across our regional Distribution Centres, while keeping inventory within agreed days cover and stock turn targets.

What You'll Do 🌏

    Inventory & Supply Planning

  • Manage supply plans and purchase orders to ensure each regional Distribution Centre (DC) meets demand within agreed inventory targets.

  • Monitor exception alerts daily in Logility, identifying risks or required actions.

  • Maintain visibility of low stock via the Backorder Board, ensuring proactive communication across teams.

  • Review and approve B2B orders, ensuring alignment with forecast and protecting DTC channel availability.

  • Collaborate with demand planning and sales to resolve stock concerns and implement strategies for excess, slow-moving, or obsolete stock.

  • Supplier & Order Management

  • Manage the end-to-end OEM order cycle, from placement through to ex-factory release, keeping key dates on track and communicated.

  • Collaborate with logistics on shipment bookings, delays, and international supply requirements.

  • Process and track purchase orders, managing amendments to keep stakeholders aligned.

  • Master Data Management

  • Serve as backup for master data requirements in NetSuite and Logility, including SKU setup/maintenance, lead times, minimum order quantity (MOQ), and pricing contracts.

  • Help ensure data flows accurately between systems to support planning and reporting.

  • Analysis, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Analyse supply chain data to spot trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Support monthly reporting on key metrics like availability, stock turns, CRD adherence, and order cycle times.

  • Identify and implement improvements, including automation and AI, to reduce manual work and boost accuracy.

  • Provide support during monthly planning cycles and cover for related roles during leave.

  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Engagement

  • Partner across demand planning, logistics, sales, marketing, product, manufacturing, and customer experience teams to keep supply plans aligned.

  • Provide timely insights to support business decision-making.

  • Commercial Accountability

  • Assess and present the commercial implications of supply decisions, providing the business with clear options and recommendations to support decision-making.

  • Support our target sea freight to air freight split.

What You'll Bring 🤝

  • Proven experience working as a Supply Planner within a retail/wholesale environment, preferably with a global footprint

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability in root cause analysis and data-driven decision making.

  • Advanced Excel/G-Suite skills; experience with Logility (supply planning system) and NetSuite (ERP) is highly advantageous.

  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes, including supply planning, logistics, and inventory management.

  • Ability to manage and analyse large data sets, prepare reports, and provide actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work cross-functionally and with external partners.

  • Ability to balance tactical thinking with hands-on execution.

  • Authentic team player and able to easily collaborate with a variety of stakeholders

  • Tertiary qualifications within business management, logistics, or a related field (preferred)

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
