With a commitment to excellence and a passion for delivering trading technology direct to clients and via our network of strategic partners, we are looking for an experienced Global Events Manager to join our team to lead all event efforts across both our consumer and B2B brands.

The Global Events Manager role is responsible for managing all aspects of event planning and execution, from concept development to post-event evaluation. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong project management skills and a passion for delivering exceptional events that leave a lasting impression on attendees. The Events Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and external vendors to ensure the successful implementation of events that align with the company’s marketing objectives and brand identity.

This position requires a person with excellent communication skills, written and verbal, as well as a strong organisational foundation to coordinate inputs from across the business and to align teams to ensure initiatives are driven to completion with appropriate accountability. You will need to have strong interpersonal skills to manage competing priorities, resourcing and personalities that span multiple geographic time zones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a holistic calendar of events including those we host as well as 3rd party conferences across all brands and geographies, including budget management.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive event strategies that support marketing objectives, enhance brand awareness, and drive lead generation and customer engagement.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, scheduling, and on-site coordination.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define event goals, themes, and messaging, and ensure alignment with overall marketing and brand strategies.
  • Lead the creation of event marketing materials, including invitations, promotional collateral, signage, and digital assets, in collaboration with the marketing team and external agencies.
  • Oversee event registration and attendee management processes, including RSVP tracking, ticket sales, and attendee communications.
  • Coordinate with external partners, sponsors, and vendors to secure sponsorships, partnerships, and other revenue-generating opportunities for events.
  • Manage post-event activities, including attendee feedback collection, performance analysis, and reporting, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in event management and marketing, and recommend innovative ideas to enhance event experiences.
  • Role modelling the values of the Company, and obliging by the work, health, safety and wellbeing policies and practices in the execution of this role.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, hospitality management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5 years) in event management, preferably in a marketing or agency environment.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and vendors.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and design.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools (e.g., event registration platforms, project management software, CRM systems).
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required for event planning and execution.
  • An interest in trading, FX or general finance
