Job Description
Welcome to J.P. Morgan Chase! Are you looking for an opportunity to interact with other global partners such as the middle office teams, client service manager, product partners, and other regional processing teams in the Line Of Business on daily operational matters including monitoring, analyzing and advocating continuous improvement of the service delivery relationship between JPM and the client by leveraging various systems and digital tools across the organization? As an Analyst in Global Custody Asset Servicing & Proxy Support within Securities Services, you will be integral to the team that handles all forms of corporate action events in Asia Pacific markets. Your role will involve overseeing and governing Proxy voting services for our clients. You will manage the entire lifecycle of a corporate action event, from its announcement to instruction reconciliation, right up to its completion. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that client votes on proxy events are accurately recorded in the market through a meticulous oversight process.
Job responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of Control checkpoints, Client Instructions and Queries on a daily basis. Escalation to internal and external parties whenever required.
  • Review and, where necessary, update existing processes or procedures to minimize risk and improve the operational environment.
  • Act as supervisor and controller in the team to ensure all risks aspect are being mitigated
  • Reconcile, validate votes from Proxy vendors to ensure meeting information announced to the client is accurate. Escalation to Proxy vendors where required.
  • Provide support, guidance and training to share knowledge and strengthen the team to enhance global client experience.
  • Act as a single point of contact for internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution on corporate actions and proxy queries.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of industry experience, with proven solid experience in day-to-day operation processing.
  • Financial Services background within a Custody or Investment Bank Asset Servicing experience (Income / Corporate Actions / Proxy Voting) environment.
  • Maintain high accuracy rate, be able to validate input and identify exceptions.
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills coupled with independent and reliable decision-making mindset including taking the initiative to take lead in order to drive change and continuously enhance controls.
  • Strong communication skills, articulate key risk and challenge of daily processing to management.
  • Proven experience in driving various process enhancement and digital tools initiatives globally and regionally.
  • Successful performance in a risk-based environment with a proven track record of risk reduction.
  • Track record of working in a changing environment with the experience of learning, documenting and implementing new processes efficiently.
  • Flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work and comfortable to deal with pressure and fast-paced environment


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proven record in handling / execution of performing UAT testing for new application
  • Experience of market processes / requirements
  • Involve in multiple process changes and enhancement
