Job Description

The Ginner is in charge of their shift and must ensure all aspects of cotton ginning operations are managed in an efficient, effective and safe manner.

Responsibilities

  • machine operation
  • supervise a team of workers during day or night shift
  • monitor production and conduct preventative maintenance
  • ensure safe systems of work

Preferred skills

  • Ginning experience desirable or experience in mechanical, maintenance and/or electrical roles
  • Manage and lead safe work practices
  • Supervision skills in a maintenance/production environment
  • Mechanical, maintenance and/or electrical knowledge
  • Computer literacy and ability to prepare and deliver reports
  • Machine Operation
  • Leadership abilities
