The opportunity
As the Functional Lead for Global Corporate Applications, you’ll be the crucial link between end-users and technology, ensuring business needs are understood, solutions are well designed, and operational services run smoothly.
You’ll work closely with senior leaders and cross functional teams to shape requirements, drive enhancements, improve processes and uplift how our global business uses its corporate applications. This role suits someone who enjoys complexity, thrives on solving problems, and loves seeing their work translated into real-world improvement.

Your new role
In this role, you will:
Translate business strategy into clear deliverables for the team.
Develop project and process documentation aligned to QBE policies and methodologies.
Gather, analyse and challenge business requirements to ensure clarity and value.
Scope initiatives effectively, managing dependencies to reduce rework and change requests.
Coordinate and support end-to-end delivery, including implementation and post go live support.
Shape business improvement cases and guide complex solution design activities.
Lead and coordinate testing to ensure system performance, usability and reliability.
Build strong relationships across the organisation to influence outcomes and enhance ways of working.
Balance operational responsibilities with risk management by identifying emerging and systemic risks, communicating them clearly, and partnering with leaders and first line risk teams to prioritise responses.
About you
You will bring:
Experience as a senior business analyst, functional lead or similar role.
Proven background in business analysis, system changes and process improvement.
Exposure to corporate applications, enterprise systems or similar environments.
A basic understanding of software architecture and how systems integrate.
Strong communication, problem solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
A collaborative mindset and a passion for driving meaningful change.
