To support us in realising our ambitious goals, we are looking for a talented Front End Lead Developer who is proficient in React.js, passionate about integrating AI capabilities into user interfaces, and experienced in team leadership.

Your primary focus is on developing front-end components using well-known React.js workflows and driving AI adoption throughout the development process. As Lead, you'll coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure, identifying opportunities to leverage AI tools and capabilities to enhance productivity and product quality. You will work in a modern enterprise web stack with an experienced development team, helping to cultivate an environment where AI adoption becomes a natural part of the development workflow.

What you'll do...

• Manage and lead a team of front-end developers, including recruitment, performance management, and professional development

• Contribute to technical research on front-end topics, and collaborate with the Product team to define our front-end strategy

• Acquire excellent product knowledge, understanding the features we've built, and developing solutions that leverage AI to solve complex business problems

• Lead and guide front-end research and technical design for all projects, providing front-end solutions to both local and remote development teams

• Lead the knowledge sharing and training process in the front-end area, to ensure high coding quality and the production of reusable, maintainable, and testable code

• Architect and implement micro frontend solutions that enable teams to work independently while maintaining cohesive user experiences

• Design and maintain our design system with a focus on consistency, reusability, and performance

• Apply the RADIO framework (Requirements exploration, Architecture, Data modeling, Interface definition, Optimisation) when designing APIs and technical solutions

• Optimise frontend build processes using Vite and other modern tooling to improve developer experience and application performance

• Coordinate with other department leads to ensure alignment between front-end development and broader company goals

• Work on code implementation when required to develop efficient, scalable, and robust code using ReactJS/TypeScript

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to improve code quality

What you'll bring...

• Proven experience managing and leading front-end development teams

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop team members

• Experience working on a variety of projects with React JS

• Knowledge of Redux and Redux-saga

• Extensive knowledge of modern web technologies including HTML, CSS 3, JSON, etc.

• Experience in applying design patterns, writing unit tests, and optimising performance in application-level Typescript/JavaScript

• Disciplined self-starter, capable of working independently or in close collaboration within an agile development team

• Some Understanding of Cloud Technologies (preferably AWS)

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate issues to technical and non-technical audience and clearly document developed solutions
