Job description: Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

The FP&A function is to assist in the preparation of strategic financial planning cycles, provide business support and analysis for decision making including financial and operational business performance review and capital approval process.

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee the strategic planning activities undertaken in the FP&A team, including Annual Budget and forecast to agreed timelines. 
  • Provide an external perspective and scan the macro environment for emerging trends in the market and feed through that insight to the Business Partners and Group Finance.
  • Provide analytical insight into a broad range of financial and commercial issues.
  • Perform standard analysis and reporting, including profitability and unit cost analysis. Promote the use of the company's business intelligence system to provide insight into the performance of the business.
  • Support Group and Region with requirements relevant for the consolidation and analysis (including results presentation, EPRs and QPRs).
  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of work of a team of analysts ensuring SLAs are met and quality standards are maintained. 

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience including of heavy analytic responsibilities and direct support provided to Business Management
  • Deep experience in preparing financial reports, building and utilising financial and operational decision-making models, trend analysis and forecasting
  • Ability to convey technical information to a non-technical audience
  • Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (Ideally Infor Cloudsuite), consolidations systems and data warehousing tools
  • High level of credibility and ability on dealing with sensitive information 
  • Demonstrate a high level of accountability
