Your Position
Located in the South-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, you'll have the exciting opportunity to work on one of Vanderlande's largest and most innovative automated warehousing solutions ever built.
The site is fully automated from start to finish, featuring cutting-edge equipment such as:

High-speed conveyors

Auto-palletisation and de-palletisation

Automatic guided vehicles (AGVs)

Storage and retrieval cranes

Robotic arms for pallet-building

You'll be working on a rotating 4 on / 4 off schedule, which includes two 12-hour day shifts followed by two 12-hour night shifts, and then you get to enjoy four consecutive days off.
This role offers a unique chance to be part of a groundbreaking project, utilizing state-of-the-art technology to revolutionize warehousing solutions.
Your Responsibilities

Your role will involve responding to any operational issues, error notifications, blockages, alarms, and warnings. You’ll also be responsible for exchanging and refilling consumables like foil, labels, and cartons.

You’ll communicate effectively with relevant teams to ensure smooth operations and minimize disruptions for our customers.

Additionally, you'll monitor Vanderlande equipment and guide client staff on proper machine processes and operations.

Your tasks will also include clearing system issues or blockages, performing low-risk repairs like fixing pneumatic leaks, replacing filters, and aligning or replacing sensors.

You’ll be following instructions, working independently or collaborating as part of a team to get the job done.
About You
We're on the lookout for a highly motivated individual who’s eager to learn and grow quickly. If you have a knack for mechanical or electrical work and basic problem-solving skills, that's a fantastic plus!
Here’s what we’re looking for:

Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written.

Physical fitness.
-
Either an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or someone with Australian Permanent Residency and unrestricted work rights.
While warehouse experience and a current forklift license are beneficial, they’re not essential.
We value team players with a positive, energetic attitude and a strong work ethic. If you can think outside the box, this role could be your entry into the exciting and growing automation industry!
