Your New Role and Responsibilities  

As an FP&A Analyst, you will contribute to enterprise performance insight across a complex, fast-moving, and highly purposeful business environment. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will support budgeting, forecasting and program performance analysis, partnering closely with Finance Operations and key stakeholders to deliver accurate, decision-ready financial insight. 

 

This role offers exposure to large-scale programs, operating cash flow and CAPEX performance, with opportunities to strengthen analytical capability and support the modernisation of finance through automation and AI-enabled tools. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Support annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and monthly performance reporting across key programs. 

  • Analyse operating cash flow, CAPEX and program performance drivers to deliver actionable insight. 

  • Partner with Finance Operations and program teams to ensure reporting accuracy and clarity of financial drivers. 

  • Contribute to pricing rate reviews and cost recovery analysis. 

  • Identify trends, risks and variances, providing clear commentary to support decision-making. 

  • Support the adoption of automation, analytics and AI tools to improve reporting efficiency and insight quality. 

 

What You’ll Bring to Make an Impact  

You are a commercially curious and analytically strong finance professional who enjoys working in complex environments. You bring a proactive mindset, strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to translate financial data into meaningful insight that supports business outcomes. 

 

Experience and Capability 

  • Several years’ experience in finance within a large or complex organisation. 

  • Sound analytical capability with ability to interpret financial data and explain key drivers. 

  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting processes. 

  • Effective stakeholder engagement skills across finance and operational teams. 

  • Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel capability (Costpoint and Insight highly regarded). 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
