Position Purpose:

The FP&A Manager plays a critical leadership role in driving financial planning, performance management, and strategic insight across the One Australia entity (Amplifon, Bay, and Attune). This role owns the end-to-end management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with business objectives.

Acting as a key business partner to senior stakeholders, the FP&A Manager provides actionable insights to both finance and the broader organisation, influencing decision-making and driving performance outcomes. The role also serves as a bridge between senior leadership and junior team members, providing guidance, structure, and oversight to ensure high-quality delivery and capability development within the team.

In addition, the FP&A Manager ensures strong governance through oversight of internal controls, financial processes, and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly financial reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clear communication to senior stakeholders 
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes end-to-end, driving alignment with strategic priorities and holding stakeholders accountable for inputs and outcomes 
  • Partner proactively with business leaders to provide financial insights, challenge assumptions, and influence decision-making 
  • Identify risks and opportunities through in-depth analysis, and deliver clear, actionable recommendations 
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting, planning, and forecasting processes to enhance efficiency and business understanding 
  • Act as a key liaison between senior leadership and junior team members, providing direction, mentoring, and ensuring high standards of output 
  • Oversee and strengthen internal controls, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal policies 
  • Lead or contribute to cross-functional and strategic projects, including M&A activities 
  • Drive process optimisation initiatives in line with Amplifon guidelines and best practices 
  • Effectively manage and communicate change across stakeholders
  • Support M&A activities 

Key Success Factors & Principal Challenges:

  • Strong ownership and accountability for financial planning, forecasting, and reporting outcomes 
  • Ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders in a complex, multi-entity environment Balancing strategic insight with operational execution and attention to detail 
  • Leading through others by providing structure, coaching, and clear expectations 
  • Driving continuous improvement while maintaining accuracy and control

Skills and Competencies:

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent; CA/CPA (or part-qualified) preferred 
  • Proven experience in FP&A within a complex, multinational environment; audit background advantageous 
  • Strong financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting expertise 
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI and Oracle highly desirable 
  • Solid understanding of IFRS and financial controls 
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of market dynamics 
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear business insights 
  • Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving 
  • Highly analytical, with a strong drive for performance and continuous learning 
  • Ability to work autonomously while leading and supporting others
