We currently have a newly created FP&A Analyst position available within our Automotive division, to provide strategic financial insights and supporting decision-making processes within our Automotive division.

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will work closely with the Commercial Finance team, Group FP&A team and key business stakeholders with the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, as well as preparation of the monthly financial results reporting suite

Your role:

  • Support the annual budgeting and long-range forecast process, encompassing identification of key initiatives and investment requirements, aligned to Group budgeting instructions around timelines and deliverables.

  • Support monthly forecasting process, ensuring alignment across the Division.

  • Provide timely financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making and drive performance.

  • Analyse monthly and quarterly financial results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to divisional and regional leadership.

  • Provide insightful analysis and commentary regarding performance, working capital, CAPEX and cashflow, and other key financial measures.

  • Develop strong relationship with the wider Finance teams to enable accurate and insightful commentary on commercial drivers behind the results.

  • Collaborate with divisional commercial finance teams and business leaders to ensure alignment on financial goals and objectives.

  • Act as a key liaison between the divisional commercial finance team and Group finance counterparts, ensuring consistency in financial reporting and analysis.

  • Support FP&A Manager and GM – Group FP&A in analysing, budgeting and forecasting group office costs.

  • Standardize reporting templates and tools to ensure consistency and comparability across business units within Automotive division.

  • Promote GPC’s organisational values, standards and policies and facilitate effectiveness through empowering, motivating and developing staff within a work environment that promotes diversity, trust and respect.

Note: This role requires the flexibility to work across different time zones as needed to collaborate with global teams and may require occasional travel within the Asia Pacific region.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field. A relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 - 4 years of experience in an FP & A Analyst or Commercial Analyst position, with FMCG, Manufacturing or Retail Industry experience desirable

  • Competent from an analytical and numeric perspective and able to effectively communicate to non-financial team members.

  • Strong business, finance, and commercial acumen with exceptional ability to synthesise.

  • Analyse and interpret complex data to provide timely and useful insights.

  • Strong understanding of financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting processes.

  • Ability to perform effectively under tight timelines in a highly dynamic environment.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (TM1 and D365 preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
