Location: Box Hill/Melbourne - Hybrid.

The Job:
As the Financial Controller – Tools & Outdoor, ANZ, you’ll be part of our dynamic Finance Team. You’ll get to:

  • Oversee all aspects of finance, accounting, and controls for the ANZ region, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in US GAAP and local GAAP.
  • Ensure balance sheet integrity and a strong control environment across the business.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 2 direct reports, fostering high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with inventory control teams to safeguard company assets and manage inventory performance across 2 Distribution Centers and 6 3PL sites.
  • Drive the month-end close process and support internal/external audit activities.
  • Collaborate with Global Shared Services, business leaders, and operational stakeholders to ensure accurate accounting and reporting.
  • Prepare and manage actual, forecast, and budget scenarios for Distribution Center activities.
  • Serve as project manager for cost reduction initiatives, working cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and procurement.
     

About You:

You also have:

  • A degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Experience in progressive finance/accounting experience, ideally in a fast-paced operations environment.
  • Strong command of English business language, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with US GAAP; SAP and HFM experience preferred.
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Demonstrated leadership of diverse teams and the ability to work across all levels of an organisation.
