This is your opportunity to become part of a world-class Finance function that is as connected as it is capable. Our Asia Pacific Finance team partners across the business and around the globe, collaborating with colleagues from Melbourne to hubs across Asia, and the Americas.

Make a real impact

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accounting Manager to lead with purpose, strengthen financial excellence and help shape the next chapter of our finance function from our Scoresby office.

This is a key leadership role for someone who brings strong technical accounting capability, a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to engage, coach and develop a high-performing team. You will play an important part in ensuring our financial reporting remains trusted, our processes continue to evolve, and our finance team is empowered to grow, contribute and reach their full potential.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Leading and developing people: Inspire, coach and support a team of finance professionals, creating clarity, building capability and develop the team to their full potential.

Delivering trusted financial outcomes: Oversee the accurate and timely recording, review and reporting of accounting transactions to maintain a reliable general ledger and strong financial governance.

Providing meaningful financial insight: Lead the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements and consolidated reporting that clearly communicates the financial position and performance of the business.

Partnering with the business: Work closely with business stakeholders across functions to investigate variances, understand performance drivers and provide insights that support informed decision-making.

Strengthening controls and compliance: Partner with internal teams to review, enhance and maintain effective controls, ensuring compliance, transparency and confidence in our financial processes.

Supporting audit excellence: Act as a trusted point of contact for internal and external audits, providing clear direction, robust documentation and leadership across management and SOX compliance activities.

Driving continuous improvement: Challenge the status quo by identifying opportunities to simplify, standardise and improve processes, embedding best practice and creating greater efficiency across the finance function.

Shaping the future of finance: Contribute to a culture of accountability, collaboration and innovation, helping the team deliver high-quality outcomes today while building the capability needed for tomorrow.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
