🔍 What You’ll Do
Financial Accounting & Month-End Support
- Prepare and post journals, accruals, and prepayments.
- Support month-end close to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Assist in preparing management accounts.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure correct coding.
Reconciliations & Reporting
- Manage bank, balance sheet, and account reconciliations.
- Maintain documentation and audit trails.
- Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules.
Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable & Cash Flow
- Review AP/AR transactions for accuracy.
- Support weekly cashflow reviews and escalate anomalies.
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding outstanding payments.
Compliance & Statutory Support
- Assist with BAS, GST, PAYG, and statutory filings.
- Coordinate with external accountants and maintain compliance documentation.
Intercompany, Fixed Assets & Inventory
- Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
- Maintain fixed asset registers.
- Support inventory-related reconciliations.
Systems, Controls & Process Improvement
- Use Xero, AroFlo, Cin7, and related systems to maintain clean financial data.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and reporting.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with operations, warehouse, design, and project teams to ensure accurate financial information flow.
- Communicate clearly with both AU and PH teams.
✅ What You Bring
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- 4–5 years of accounting or financial reporting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (AASB/IFRS).
- Proficiency with Xero and strong Excel skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical thinking and willingness to learn.
Nice to Have
- Progress toward CPA or CA qualification.
- Experience in project-based or multi‑entity environments.
- Exposure to AroFlo, Cin7, Power BI.
- Strong system competency (Xero, Excel, Outlook).
