Financial Accountant – Drive Excellence in Corporate Finance
Are you ready to make a real impact in a dynamic finance team? Reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Finance, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of high-quality accounting and reporting for a Melbourne-based entity.
As a Financial Accountant, you’ll play a key role in:
• Delivering precision in day-to-day accounting, end-of-month financial statements, and variance analysis.
• Supporting compliance through statutory reporting and tax advisory services.
• Managing critical processes including weekly payroll and transactional reconciliations.
• Driving innovation by championing process improvements, system automation, and strengthening the control environment.
What We’re Looking For
• Expertise in AASB statutory reporting and indirect taxes
• Strong financial acumen and commercial insight to influence better business decisions
• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel is a must); Xero experience is a bonus
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
Experience & Qualifications
• 5–7 years in a similar role
• CA/CPA qualified (preferred)
• Degree in Commerce or Business
