As a Finance Systems & Accounting Graduate you will:
- Assist in the analysis and documentation of existing finance systems and processes.
- Support the implementation of improvements within the finance system and improvements team.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for efficiency gains (where required).
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Participate in training sessions for finance staff on new systems and processes.
- Learn and Support multiple Finance systems.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in finance systems.
- Conduct thorough analyses of project costs and budgets to ensure accurate forecasting and financial planning.
- Leverage accounting tools such as Oracle ERP, IBM TM1, Deltek Cobra, or Excel to track project expenses and generate detailed financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation and posting of journal entries, perform account reconciliations to verify the integrity of financial statements and project ledgers, identifying discrepancies and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Oversee the invoicing process for projects to ensure timely and accurate billing, while maintaining compliance with contractual agreements and financial regulations.
- Present complex financial information to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, supporting informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team in a conscientious and inclusive manner to support project objectives and enhance financial outcomes.
