Job Description

Are you a tech-savvy finance professional with a passion for optimising financial systems, automating processes, and driving innovation? We’re looking for a Finance Systems Accountant to lead initiatives that enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, and integrate cutting-edge finance technologies into our business.

What You’ll Do:

  • Finance Systems & Process Optimisation – Evaluate, implement, and optimise finance systems to improve automation, reporting, and operational efficiency.
  •  Automation & Workflow Enhancement – Identify opportunities for automation and deploy efficient workflows using tools like Xero, Employment Hero, and other finance software.
  • System Implementations & Integrations – Manage the end-to-end implementation of new finance systems and migrate acquired entities onto existing platforms.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making – Use financial and system data to drive process improvements, close operational gaps, and enhance reporting accuracy.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Change Management – Work closely with finance, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth system adoption, provide training, and support go-live transitions.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in finance systems, automation, or finance process optimisation.
  • Strong knowledge of finance software and automation tools (e.g., Xero, Employment Hero, ERP systems, workflow automation tools).
  • Experience leading system implementation, finance migrations, and process automation projects.
  • Ability to analyse complex financial processes and data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Solid understanding of change management, stakeholder engagement, and training methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
