About the role
As Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the finance function across multiple regions. This is an exciting opportunity to join a global team, gain exposure to international operations, and build your career in a high-growth environment.
What you'll do
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including month-end close process, general ledger reconciliations, journal entries and statutory reporting.
- Oversee AP and AR functions performed by external bookkeepers.
- Preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly management reports in accordance with group reporting requirements along with variance analysis and board-level insights.
- Manage profit recognition in line with accounting standards and monitor gross margins and campaign profitability.
- Manage intercompany transactions, recharges and reconciliations across AU, UK and US entities.
- Coordinate annual statutory financial statements and manage external audit processes.
- Oversee global tax and regulatory obligations (GST/VAT, payroll tax, corporate compliance), supported by external advisers.
- Help design and implement scalable financial processes and internal controls suitable for Livewire’s rapid growth.
What you bring
- Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CPA a plus).
- 1–3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience in a high-growth environment (media/creative agency highly regarded).
- Proficiency with accounting software (Xero experience highly regarded) and strong Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously.
- Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to work with stakeholders across regions.
