We are currently on the searching for a strong Finance Manager, to account for and undertake the administration and execution of various accounting tasks within the general accounting function in a designated area to ensure accurate and timely reporting in compliance with the applicable regulatory standards
This role will be responsible for:
Preparation of statutory submission to Development Financial Control team on a yearly and half-yearly basis.
Prepare trial balances of Trust Accounts for JV on a monthly basis
Manage annual audit process and liaise with external auditors
Responsible for the preparation of internal monthly management reporting submissions for MQ, THP and B&W.
Assist in liaising with internal business units, functions and external advisors as part of CA Review / Business Planning / management reporting forecast update process
Ensure the overall integrity of the project financial models (Commercial Assessments).
Responsibility for the modelling of commercial and retail leasing deals for potential tenants.
Undertake scenario analysis to inform the development team on appropriate leasing terms and the preparation of leasing papers for internal review.
Report on the Development Management revenue / COGS and track overhead costs
GL Maintenance – manage FAR to accurately process AP/AR, accurate and efficient cash management, reconciliations, journals
Respond to ad-hoc requests to assist in providing technical support/advice where required.
Provide input to improving the financial and management reporting processes.
Keep abreast of technical updates and relay them to team members, management and finance managers on the impacts to the business.
Required to assist in managing team members to ensure all deadlines are met.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key contacts within Lendlease and with external partners and advisors.
Your background
You will bring relevant tertiary qualifications and technical post tertiary qualifications which include CA or CPA qualifications with at least 5 years of project accounting experience. Your strong stakeholder management skills will be supported by your hands-on approach and ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment working both autonomously and as part of a team. Experience in the property industry and with large ERP packages (TM1)/Excel models is preferred.
