What's involved:
Gather data from primary and secondary data sources to identify and interpret trends, and to perform statistical tests on large datasets to determine data quality and integrity
Source and collate qualitative and quantitative data from various sources to produce valid and meaningful reports and information for customer groups, identifying and following through on data discrepancies
Clean, prepare, manipulate, and extract insights from structured datasets, specifically Excel, SQL, EDP and the ability to utilise BI tools to analyse datasets and present insights such as PowerBI
Present detailed analyses, customer research, and insights along with making strategic recommendations to wider business and external partners
Develop and Maintain data pipelines to create a mature reporting platform for payroll and HRMS systems
Liaise with stakeholders to understand their business requirements, discuss on-going performance, and clarify any research findings
Who we’re looking for:
Our ideal candidate will come from a Data Analytics background and have specialist technical experience and an awareness around the key building blocks of data strategy.
You’ll have a solid understanding of the analytical tools and techniques to extract insight from disparate data sources and be able to identify opportunities to drive business growth.

You’ll need:

Demonstrated experience working as a data analyst or in quality assurance role
In-depth practical & conceptual knowledge of analytics tools and statistical analysis methods
Good knowledge of basic statistical concepts and operations (e.g. averages, tallies, distributions, error margins)
