About the Role:
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and reporting on Home Office budgets and forecasts. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate financial insights effectively to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Budgeting and Forecasting: help to prepare and update Home Office Expense budgets and forecasts on a regular basis, incorporating market trends, historical data, and business insights.
Reporting: Generate and distribute accurate and timely Headcount, Travel, and Cost Centre reports to key stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
Analysis: Support with variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to management.
Collaboration: Work closely with department VPs to gather relevant information and ensure comprehensive financial analysis.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial planning and analysis activities.
Adhoc: Analysis and reporting as needed by the business
Ensure full reconciliation of the stock ledger across systems.
Oversee stock adjustment processes, including damages and stocktake.
Support the Financial Control Manager in controlling and executing the stocktake process.
Qualifications:
CA/CPA qualification
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Intermediate/Advanced in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting software.
System experience advantageous: Oracle, Hyperion Planning/ EssBase, TM1, Power Query, Power BI, Power Pivot
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
