About the Role: 

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and reporting on Home Office budgets and forecasts. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate financial insights effectively to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: help to prepare and update Home Office Expense budgets and forecasts on a regular basis, incorporating market trends, historical data, and business insights.

  • Reporting: Generate and distribute accurate and timely Headcount, Travel, and Cost Centre reports to key stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

  • Analysis: Support with variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to management.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with department VPs to gather relevant information and ensure comprehensive financial analysis.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial planning and analysis activities.

  • Adhoc: Analysis and reporting as needed by the business

  • Ensure full reconciliation of the stock ledger across systems.

  • Oversee stock adjustment processes, including damages and stocktake.

  • Support the Financial Control Manager in controlling and executing the stocktake process.

Qualifications:

  • CA/CPA qualification

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Intermediate/Advanced in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting software.

  • System experience advantageous: Oracle, Hyperion Planning/ EssBase, TM1, Power Query, Power BI, Power Pivot

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
