What Makes This Role Great:

In this high-impact role, you will be the face of Trimble Forestry in APAC, directly engaging with senior executives to share our “Connected Forest” vision. You will act as a consultative partner, mapping our innovative solutions to solve complex business challenges for major accounts. This is a unique opportunity to lead solution sales and build win/win business agreements that directly shape the industry's digital transformation across Australia, New Zealand, and beyond.

Key Exciting Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the development and execution of strategic account plans to consistently achieve ambitious sales targets and business objectives.

  • Identify, drive, and close new business opportunities, focusing on strategic sales, upselling, and cross-selling within existing and new accounts.

  • Lead complex sales cycles from initial contact through final negotiation, ensuring terms of contracts are finalized to close deals successfully.

  • Coordinate the collaboration between customers, business partners, and our internal product and project teams to ensure the quality of outcome and customer satisfaction.

  • Provide strategic value and insight at the senior executive level, articulating a clear, concise return on investment (ROI) for our technology solutions.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of proven success in managing complex sales cycles and consistently achieving revenue goals.

  • Strong, verifiable knowledge of the Forestry Industry and its key entities, from private owners to large contractors.

  • Demonstrated ability to establish and leverage professional networks within the Forestry sector.

  • Exceptional consultative sales solution skills, with the ability to clearly articulate the business value and technological fit of complex solutions.

  • Highly self-motivated, committed, and able to work effectively and autonomously under pressure in a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-oriented environment.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience working in a matrixed organization, managing a portfolio of multiple products or solutions.

  • Advanced selling capability that showcases mastery in strategy, customer relations, negotiation, and closing.

  • Existing network and ability to travel within the wider South East Asia region.

Logistics:

Location: Australia- Melbourne or Remote – Australia, Remote - New Zealand

Travel Requirement: 20-40%
