Role Objective:

Are you an organised and creative operator with a flair for delivering premium experiences? We’re looking for a Festival & Outdoor VIP Manager to join our Product & Experience team for a full time six-month fixed term contract, leading the end-to-end delivery of VIP experiences across our iconic festivals and green field events.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, you’ll bring our onsite VIP concepts to life, from early design development to supplier negotiations, customer comms, and seamless onsite execution. This is a hands-on role that will see you managing projects, people, and budgets to ensure an unforgettable experience for every VIP guest.

If you're passionate about live events and thrive in fast-moving, collaborative environments, we want to hear from you! Apply now with a cover letter telling us why you're the perfect fit for this role

What you’ll be doing:

  • End-to-end VIP project management: Develop, plan, and deliver VIP experiences across multiple festivals and green field events.
  • Supplier coordination: Source, brief, and manage suppliers across theming, décor, food and beverage, and construction.
  • Onsite delivery: Lead onsite VIP operations from bump in to bump out, ensuring premium execution and guest satisfaction.
  • Cross-team collaboration: Liaise with Marketing, Ticketing, Tour Ops and Customer Service to bring experiences to life and drive sales.
  • Reporting & budgets: Own the financials — managing budgets, tracking sales, and preparing PLS settlement documentation.
  • Staff management & coordination: Oversee staffing plans, brief local teams, and provide support for the Festival Fan Experience Coordinator.
  • Festival representation: Attend team WIPs, manage festival briefings/debriefs, and be the face of VIP onsite.

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong communication: You write clearly, speak confidently, and know how to tailor your message to different audiences.
  • Creative problem-solving: You’re resourceful and calm under pressure, with a solutions-first mindset.
  • Event experience: Proven success in fast-paced, onsite event delivery — ideally within the festival, music or entertainment sector.
  • Commercial acumen: You’re confident managing budgets, reading data, and driving value from supplier and partner relationships.
  • Team leadership: Experience managing people and leading cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.
  • Tech skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint — ClickUp experience a bonus.
  • Positive, flexible mindset: You bring energy, adaptability, and a proactive attitude to every challenge.

The Benefits:

  • A vibrant, music-focused workplace fostering creativity and collaboration.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
  • Access to concerts, events, and other entertainment perks.
  • A diverse, equitable workplace where every voice matters.
  • Comprehensive benefits, from volunteer days to wellness programs and mental health support.

Equal Opportunities:

We are deeply committed to diversity, inclusion, and supporting our people. In our inclusive workplace, you’re encouraged to bring your whole self to work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. As a growing business, we support your professional and personal development, offering opportunities to learn and grow alongside talented colleagues. We value talent in all forms and welcome applications from individuals of any gender, race, age, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or caregiving responsibilities.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
