  • Ensuring timely import of products and stock management, to ensure an exceptional customer experience
  • Understanding and minimising logistics and warehousing costs by effectively analysing inventory levels and purchase orders’ shipments sizes and frequency
  • Regular demand analysis and audit to avoid potential stock outs and aged stock, taking corrective action where necessary
  • Analysing performance of various product ranges and recommending actions to key stakeholders
  • Ensure we have a minimal number of sold-out products, monitoring them and timely updating of prices, presale dates and stock levels
  • Partnering with key stakeholders to ensure stock levels are sufficient, considering potential demand changes based on sales and / or promotional campaigns

  • Experienced within or have exposure to Demand Planning or Inventory / Stock Control, preferably within a Retail, eCommerce or FMCG environment. Experience with SAP or Netstock will be well regarded
  • Highly analytical, logical and ready to delve into data - being able to evaluate offers and products quickly to determine if they’re of value to our customers is key.
  • Able to develop strong and effective relationships, through excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • A multi-tasking ninja - we expect you to juggle 50 different tasks at once without dropping the ball (we’re not kidding).
  • A whiz with Microsoft Excel (we’re talking VLOOKUP and pivot tables, not SUM and AVERAGE - and we will test your capabilities).
  • Tech savvy and ability to use various IT and cloud-based tools to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Ready to challenge, be challenged, and work within our highly disruptive business model.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
