Experienced Associate, Internal Audit (Risk Consulting)

About this role

Join our Audit and Assurance team and help clients strengthen their control environments and understand their key business risks. You will work with a diverse mix of organisations and industries, gaining hands on experience while contributing to high quality audit and advisory outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Document and assess internal control frameworks that support effective risk management.
• Perform internal control testing and substantive procedures in line with professional standards and GT methodology.
• Apply sound audit judgement and deliver clear, commercially focused insights to clients.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure coordinated, timely and exceptional client service.
• Continue building your capability through on the job learning, coaching and access to specialists across the firm.

Skills & experience

• Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, risk or a related discipline.
• Strong communication skills, accuracy and a genuine interest in understanding how businesses operate.
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively within a collaborative team environment.
• A solid understanding of core business processes.
• One to two years of internal audit experience, ideally gained in professional services.
