As an Experience Research Vice President within the Design and Customer experience team, you will collaborate with user researchers, product, design, and marketing teams to conduct both evaluative and generative UXR. You will play a crucial role in shaping product design and marketing strategies through data-driven insights.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct quantitative research studies using methods such as experiments, surveys, and behavioral/log data analysis to deepen understanding of user experience and drive product strategy.
- Develop quantitative metrics to assess product performance over time (e.g., CSAT or sentiment).
- Drive ideas to improve products and services through research-driven insights and recommendations.
- Prioritize research needs and approaches across multiple work streams to ensure impact by delivering actionable insights.
- Communicate research findings in a compelling and accessible manner to stakeholders.
- Influence stakeholders across organizations to gain support for research-based, user-centric solutions.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Expertise in conducting complex quantitative research at scale using a variety of research methods (A/B testing, surveys, conjoint, and discrete choice modeling).
- Experience in programming languages used for data manipulation and computational statistics (e.g., Python, R).
- Demonstrated expertise in descriptive, inferential, and multivariate statistics, including t-test, ANOVA, and mixed regressions.
- Ability to distill research findings into clear, compelling data-backed presentations, data visualizations, and/or infographics.
- Excellent command of research questions within a given domain and technical tools for data analysis.
- 5+ years of relevant research experience working on digital experiences and generating actionable insights that drive impact.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Skilled in telling compelling stories with data and explaining work, process, and decisions to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Focus on users and solving for their needs and wants, with experience driving impact from insights.
- Ability to balance working with urgency and focus with methodological rigor and adapt as needed for the situation.
- Experience in interactive design, information architecture, or market research and Experience planning and facilitating workshops with stakeholders..
