Build your career and Australia’s future.
Not many people can say they are working on building Australia’s future. With us you’ll be doing just that, leaving a legacy for all Australians. Plus, there’s equal employment, great training, and true flexible working arrangements.
A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for an Executive Manager B2B Partner Technology (RSP) reporting to the General Manager Technology Delivery RSP Experience and Simplicity.
A bit about your role
As the Executive Manager B2B Partner Technology (RSP), you will own nbn’s RSP B2B technology channel and act as the single point of contact for strategic technology decisions, new and evolving capability, and deep, values-led engagement with RSPs. You will bring clarity to complex choices by balancing standards-driven architecture with the practical realities of adoption, ensuring our technology roadmap delivers mutual benefit and measurable outcomes for both nbn and the industry.
In this role, you will be accountable for the design, release and evolution of B2B API solutions aligned to industry best practice and TM Forum guidelines, with a strong focus on telco-specific integration rather than generic enterprise patterns. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across nbn to architect solutions that are resilient, scalable and fit for purpose across the broader telco ecosystem, while maintaining the thoughtful discipline required to avoid short‑sighted, tactical outcomes.
You will also lead outward-facing engagement that helps RSPs confidently adopt and get value from nbn technology, from onboarding and certification through to delivery of RSP-specific initiatives and versioned uplift. You will translate “outside-in” insights into continuous improvement, guiding change communication, documentation quality and delivery rhythm in a way that feels transparent, collaborative and genuinely supportive. You will lead and develop a team of five, creating a culture where technical excellence and human connection sit side by side, and where people feel trusted to do their best work together.
A bit about you
If this sounds like the role for you, you will likely bring deep telecommunications experience, with proven experience in B2B roles and a strong track record designing and architecting telco industry interfaces and API integration layers. You hold tertiary qualifications in Engineering (or equivalent) and you bring TM Forum certification, alongside breadth across software engineering and the practical craftsmanship of building integration that partners can rely on.
You are technically grounded and commercially astute, with strong problem management capability and the confidence to engage credibly with senior telco executives. You influence with warmth and conviction, persuading and negotiating across a broad RSP landscape while protecting shared outcomes, trust and long-term value. Your leadership style is inclusive and steady: you listen closely, communicate clearly, and bring people with you through change by making the “why” and the “how” feel achievable, human and aligned to a shared purpose.
