About the role

This is a rare, newly unlocked opportunity to work alongside three world class leaders driving Halter’s commercial engine. Primarily working with our Halter President (POTUS), but also providing support to our VP Go-To-Market, and VP Commercial where needed; the pace, complexity, and cross-functional coordination required make this role interesting and challenging in the best way.

As our EA - Go To Market, you’ll create clarity and leverage where revenue, customers, and strategy intersect. You’ll bring structure to busy calendars, remove operational friction, and ensure the right things get attention at the right time. You’ll have broad exposure across Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, Strategic Relations, Customer Support & Onboarding, Growth and beyond - embedded in the work, not just orbiting it.

This role is perfect for someone who is motivated by fixing problems and truly values every day being different. We’re scaling crazy fast, so we need someone smart, adaptable and eager to jump straight in.

You’ll own the fundamentals of executive support and do them brilliantly; calendaring, travel, meetings, relationships. But you’ll also go deeper - protecting focus, shaping priorities, and keeping momentum high.

You won’t just manage diaries. You’ll influence how work flows, how decisions land, and how our commercial function operates day to day.

What you'll do:

Executive Leverage

Own the admin side of their days and do it well.

  • Own complex calendar management across multiple time zones - prioritise, protect focus time, and keep the week flowing, flag potential conflicts early, and propose trade-offs before they become fires.

  • Coordinate travel end-to-end: flights, accommodation, ground transport, itineraries, and changes on the fly.

  • Own expenses and reimbursements: capture receipts, reconcile, submit on time, keep it painless

  • Produce tight meeting briefs: purpose, context, pre-reads, key questions, and clear decisions required.

  • Triage inboxes where helpful: draft replies and keep threads moving

  • Act as the gatekeeper to these busy Execs: understand their priorities, triage inbound requests, route or decline appropriately, and protect their time so they can focus on the most important thing.

GTM Rhythm & Execution

Help the commercial engine run smoothly.

  • Support cadence meetings (forecasting, QBRs, planning sessions, offsites)

  • Coordinate events and offsites end-to-end: venues, agendas, comms, budgets, RSVPs, execution

  • Keep a pulse on day-to-day GTM work and help follow up where momentum is needed

  • Act as the connective tissue between GTM and the rest of the business

Systems & Improvement
  • Own small projects end-to-end.

  • Spot inefficiencies in how work flows and simplify them. You’ll build lightweight systems that make life easier, not heavy process for the sake of it.

  • Operate from first principles. Start with the human problem - how people actually work, where friction exists, what’s slowing things down, then design the right solution.

  • Close loops relentlessly. If there’s an action, it gets an owner, a due date, and follow-ups until it’s done.

Other Responsibilities
  • Perform light personal admin (where it helps performance) including appointment scheduling, admin, and keeping things from feeling cluttered.

You’ll do well here if you:
  • Operate with extreme ownership - you don’t wait to be asked

  • Have high judgement and low ego - you know what matters and push back when something’s a bad use of time

  • Stay calm under pressure - travel breaks, priorities shift, plans change

  • Communicate like a weapon - concise, clear, fast

  • Handle confidential matters with discretion

Who we’re looking for:
  • 3+ years supporting senior leaders in fast-moving businesses

  • Highly organised and able to operate in ambiguity.

  • A clear, confident communicator.

  • Takes pride in doing the fundamentals brilliantly.

  • Brings positive energy to the room - you’re sharp and professional, but you also know how to have a laugh and keep things human

  • Bonus points if you’re a dog lover - we’re a dog-friendly office!

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
