Who We Are

Healthcare needs a better rhythm: one that keeps care continuous and deeply human. Heidi is building an AI Care Partner that works alongside clinicians to make that possible.

We’re a team of doctors, engineers, designers, researchers, and creatives building tools that help clinicians stay focused on what matters most: their patients.

In just 18 months, Heidi has given back more than 18 million hours to healthcare professionals — supporting 73 million patient visits in 116 countries. Today, more than two million patient visits each week are powered by Heidi worldwide.

Backed by nearly $100 million in funding, we’re growing in the US, UK, Canada, and Europe, partnering with leading health systems including the NHS, Beth Israel Lahey Health, and Monash Health.

Your Role

As an Events Lead, you will own how Heidi shows up through live experiences.

Reporting to the Head of Brand, you will define and deliver Heidi’s global events strategy, shaping how Heidi shows up through live experiences worldwide. This includes establishing our flagship event series, hackathons, employee experience moments, and curated experiences that reflect the brand at its best.

You will set the global standard for quality and consistency, partnering with Field Marketing teams to support strong local execution while ensuring all Heidi events align to the broader brand strategy.

This is a senior yet hands-on role. You’ll set standards, build systems, manage partners, and roll up your sleeves to execute key events yourself.

What you’ll do
  • Own global event standards - Define the playbooks, templates, and quality bar that guide event delivery across markets.

  • Partner with Field Marketing teams - Enable and support in-market teams to execute events to a consistently high standard, while preserving flexibility for local nuance.

  • Lead end-to-end execution - Deliver flagship events from concept through planning, budgeting, vendor management, and on-site delivery.

  • Build scalable operations - Create clear timelines, run sheets, budgets, and coordination frameworks that make global event delivery predictable and repeatable.

  • Manage agencies and vendors - Brief and lead external partners, ensuring strong creative output and operational excellence.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally - Work closely with Brand, Marketing, Sales, Product, and Leadership teams to align messaging and execution.

  • Continuously improve - Gather insights, refine formats, and raise the quality and impact of Heidi’s events over time.

What we’re looking for
  • 6+ years’ experience in events, experiential marketing, or brand activations,

  • Proven experience owning events end to end,

  • Experience rolling out event formats across multiple markets,

  • Strong cross-functional collaborator, comfortable working with senior stakeholders,

  • Confident managing agencies and vendors,

  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail,

  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments, and

  • Proactive, accountable, and execution-focused.

The way we work

1. Build to Last

We design for safety and reliability so clinicians, patients, and our teams can trust what we build every day.

2. Own Your Practice

Ideas rise on merit, not title, and everyone shares responsibility for the standards we set together.

3. Move Fast, Stay Steady

We move quickly but never at the cost of trust. Progress only matters if people can depend on what we make.

4. Make Others Better

Honest feedback, steady support, and shared growth keep our teams improving together.

Why you will flourish with us

  • Flexible hybrid working environment, with 3 days in the office.

  • A generous personal development budget of $500 per annum

  • Learn from some of the best engineers and creatives, joining a diverse team

  • Become an owner, with shares (equity) in the company, if Heidi wins, we all win

  • The rare chance to create a global impact as you immerse yourself in one of Australia’s leading healthtech startups

  • If you have an impact quickly, the opportunity to fast track your startup career!

Heidi is dedicated to creating an equitable, inclusive, and supportive work environment that brings people together from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Our strength is in our differences. We're proud to be an equal opportunity employer and welcome all applicants as we're committed to promoting a culture of opportunity for all.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
