The Enware State Sales Manager is responsible for driving growth through regional sales teams, developing strategies, managing key accounts, and ensuring team performance in line with corporate goals.
Responsible for driving and supporting the growth of Enware product ranges across Australia through regional sales teams and key national accounts. This includes leading sales teams in various states and territories, developing and implementing tailored regional strategies, and engaging with internal and external stakeholders to execute strategic account plans for nominated national accounts across the Enware.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a state based sales strategy aligned with corporate goals and long-term growth plans
- Translate business strategy into clear sales targets, priorities, and execution plans
- Identify new market opportunities, channels, and customer segments
Sales Performance & Growth
- Own state sales revenue, margin, and growth targets
- Drive consistent forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting discipline
- Monitor sales performance against targets and implement corrective actions where required
Team Leadership & Capability
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing state sales team
- Build a performance-driven culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and customer outcomes
- Set clear expectations, KPIs, and development plans for direct reports
Key Accounts & Customer Relationships
- Maintain local level relationships with strategic and national customers
- Ensure customer insights are fed back into product, service, and supply chain functions
- Champion a customer-centric sales approach across the team
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and Product teams to ensure aligned execution
- Ensure sales initiatives are operationally viable and deliverable.
Governance, Reporting & Risk
- Establish and maintain robust sales governance, processes, and controls
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and contractual obligations
As part of Enware Pty Ltd’s commitment to maintaining and continually improving its certified management systems under ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management), the incumbent is required to:
- Understand and comply with all relevant policies, procedures, and requirements of the Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Participate in training and awareness activities related to quality, environmental, and health & safety obligations.
- Identify, report, and support the resolution of hazards, risks, opportunities, and non-conformities.
- Contribute to continual improvement across quality, environmental, and OHS processes.
- Support the achievement of organizational objectives and promote a culture of quality, sustainability, and safety
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering or Management (required).
EXPERIENCE:
- Demonstrated leadership within building and construction sectors.
- Strong track record in solution‑based sales and brand development.
- Experience managing full‑function teams across technical and commercial disciplines.
MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Excellent communication, analytical and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to motivate teams and drive performance improvement.
- Demonstrated integrity, transparency and strong work ethic.
- Comfort operating in multinational matrix environments.
