Job Description

This is a leadership position in our well established and market leading North Queensland Northern Territory (NQNT) business. You will join the NQNT Leadership team comprised of Business Line leads, office managers, marketing and HR to drive sustainable growth and implement AECOM’s strategy to Deliver a Better World.
Any relocation assistance required will be fully provided to ensure a smooth transition for you and any family members.

What will a day in this role look like:

  • Drive client relationships and raise the AECOM profile in an exciting Queensland and Northern Territory market.
  • Collaborate with the NQNT Leadership team across five offices to drive project success
  • Lead an established multidisciplinary Environment team across a broad region
  • Be based in a busy Townsville office, working with multiple teams in a global engineering consultancy

Qualifications

The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered.

What are we looking for from you?

  • Ideally, 12+ years’ experience in Environmental work including 5+ years in consulting.
  • Familiar with multidisciplinary approaches to Environmental service offerings such as; Remediation, EIA, Environmental Planning and Approvals, Ecology and GRS.
  • Strong ability and proven background in managing Environmental teams and delivering exceptional client outcomes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to develop teams and mentor staff
  • Proven track record in developing strong client relationships.
