Build your career and Australia’s future.
Not many people can say they are working on building Australia’s future. With us you’ll be doing just that, leaving a legacy for all Australians. Plus, there’s equal employment, great training, and true flexible working arrangements.
A bit about your role
As the Enterprise Capability Lead, you will bring people together to design, deliver, and continuously improve capability development initiatives that align with nbn’s Capability strategy. You will manage and oversee our learning management system and connected online learning platforms, ensuring learning experiences are accessible, engaging, and thoughtfully curated across the enterprise. Your work will shape multi‑modal offerings that meet learners where they are—drawing on eLearning authoring tools such as Easygenerator and Articulate, knowledge management in SharePoint, and video and visual storytelling in Canva—to create practical, human‑centred content that is easy to find, easy to use, and made for impact.
In this role, you will partner closely with leaders and teams to understand their needs, translate insights into meaningful solutions, and evaluate outcomes to uplift capability at scale. You will cultivate a supportive learning culture that encourages curiosity and connection, strengthens confidence, and helps our people thrive. Your steady, solutions‑focused approach will bring clarity to complex environments, enabling consistent learning pathways and improving performance across diverse functions.
A bit about you
If this sounds like you, you will likely hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Human Resources, Organisational Development, Learning and Development, or a related field, coupled with significant experience designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating capability initiatives across different levels and functions. You bring experience in a similar role, or as a Learning and Development Consultant, Facilitator, or Coordinator and a strong toolkit in instructional design, adult learning principles, digital learning platforms, multimedia content creation, facilitation, and evaluation methods. Your communication and influencing skills are highly developed, allowing you to engage stakeholders with care, listen deeply, and co‑create solutions that meet expectations.
You are organised and thoughtful, comfortable managing multiple projects, prioritising with discernment, and meeting deadlines without losing sight of quality. You are collaborative and inclusive, with a warm, purposeful style that builds trust and invites diverse perspectives. You balance creativity with practicality, measure impact with a disciplined lens, and champion accessible, user‑centred learning. With your empathy, curiosity, and commitment to continuous improvement, you will help nbn uplift enterprise capability and support our people to do their best work.
